Wellness Works Canada Workplace Health and Performance Accreditation
Become accredited and recognized through the only national association supporting Workplace Health and Performance (a.k.a. workplace wellbeing) professionals across all industries and sectors. Our innovative, evidence-based process integrates assessment, learning, and validation to help you strengthen your impact and build healthy, high-performing work cultures.
This is Canada's first and only national certification that recognizes existing competencies while supporting your ongoing professional growth and development.
There are three progressive levels, each building on the one before it for those working towards the Expert level. However, if you are a people leader and want to only do the Leader level, you do not need to do the other levels.
Practitioner: Designed for professionals who lead or influence workplace well-being and performance, whether as part of their role or as a dedicated focus. Learn the foundations of creating thriving, high-performing work cultures.
Leader: For people leaders who want to elevate their impact through evidence-based leadership practices. Gain tools to shift mindsets, enhance engagement, and build trust, incorporating insights from Deborah Connors' A Better Place to Work framework.
Expert: For seasoned professionals and consultants who can demonstrate measurable impact. Showcase your achievements and gain national recognition as an expert in workplace health and performance.
The program is asynchronous, so you can learn at your own pace, or join a paced cohort for added structure and networking opportunities.

Winter 2026 Start
Practitioner level: January 05 - March 30, 2026
Leader level: April 06, 2025 - June 29, 2026
Expect to dedicate 5-10 hours per week during a cohort, with bi-weekly reflection and networking sessions. Prefer flexibility? Choose the self-paced option to start anytime and take up to one year to complete your certification.
Note: Each certification level builds on the one before it. You must complete the Practitioner level before advancing to Leader, and Leader before progressing to Expert. If you already have significant experience, this program provides formal recognition of your existing competencies.
Membership Requirement: You must be a Wellness Works Canada member in good standing to pursue certification.
